A city with architecture inspired by the design of the spokes of a hexagram

In 1928, the city of Hamadan in Iran was redesigned by German architects and town planners.
(One of its designers was a German engineer named Karl Frisch) to resemble the spokes of a hexagram, as seen in this aerial photo by Anthony Quigley.
